You may know of ‘The Maggot’ at Nairn!? Inverness also had an area called The Maggot, come and find out more.
Where : Starting at 2.30pm from Inverness Library and lasting approx. 1½hrs.
The library is by the bus station and Rose Street car park.
When : As part of the Walking and Wheeling Festival on Saturday 6th June.
Cost : Free of charge but donations welcome.

Activity Level : Mainly walking on pavements around the city centre. Pedestrian crossings will be used as required. All weather clothing advised, one short, uphill gradient from the river back to the city centre.
The Maggot, which was originally an island, took its name from a chapel of St. Margaret and was situated between Waterloo Place, Glebe Street and the River Ness.
