We ran a cycle along the canal last year (as Velocity) and it was such a success that we'd like to run the same ride again! On Wednesday 4th of June we'll meet at Torvean park at 10:15am (for an 10:30am start) to do a ride along the canal to Dochgarroch and back. At Dochgarroch we'll stop for some snacks on the grass by the canal before riding back, aiming to be back for 1230. We'll be able to provide bikes and helmets for this event and anyone is welcome to join us. The total ride distance is 7miles, but we will be going steadily and stopping along the way so encourage people who aren't sure if they can do it to come and give it a try. We would encourage you to bring a snack and drink to enjoy at the end of the canal (Dochgarroch). Takeaway coffee is also available at An Talla Cafe.

On the ride we'll focus on the nature we encounter along the way. After we reach Dochgarroch we'll stop for a quick chat and check in, the ride will be a sociable pace, suitable for beginners. Wear suitable clothes for cycling. The ride is for all abilities, adults aged 18+. As long as you can ride a bike safely then you can come along.
