Nordic Walking at Daviot Woods - come and try!

Karen Powell teaches Nordic Walking around Inverness, Drumnadrochit and other local areas. If you’ve wanted to try Nordic Walking then this is your chance!

Nordic Walking enhances your natural walking style, and with a technique similar to classic cross country skiing it becomes a whole body work out, encouraging you to walk naturally, creating a relaxed style, using your upper body, with less pressure on the joints of the hips and knees.

Suitable for any one who would like to walk with ease and great for anyone at any level of fitness – proven to help with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Strokes or MS. As recovery from Breast Cancer.  For Ultra distance runners to increase speed and longevity of joints.

** There will be walking poles available for you to use. You will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before starting the walk.
